Week 1

Mon Jul 31	8.15 - 13.00	Modern Greek language examination The examination will take place at the hotel. The results will be posted on the ISS Bulletin Board in the Reception Hall in the evening. Students are requested to note the group in which they have been placed, their instructor's name, and their classroom.

	Buses will leave the Xenia Helios Hotel at 8.00 for the archaeological sites of Amphipolis and Philippi. 13.30: Departure for Kavala and a visit to the Byzantine fortress in the old town. 16.30: Swimming at Bati Beach. Those who prefer not to visit the fortress may spend the whole afternoon at the beach.
